Share Savings
Your savings account at the credit union is called a share account. You must maintain a $25 minimum balance in your account to retain membership.
Your money is insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government.
Share Drafts
If you need a checking account, we offer a better service called share drafts. There is no minimum balance required and no service charges. You receive carbonless duplicates of your drafts and monthly statements.
Lending
GEM Federal Credit Union offers a variety of loan plans and interest rates designed to suit your borrowing needs. Contact our loan department for current rates. You can also fill out a loan application online.
Loan Protection Insurance
Borrowers may purchase low-cost credit life and disability insurance from the credit union which protects your family if you have a loan.

Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit allows you to have your payroll, pension, or any recurring government check deposited directly into your credit union account.
Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction is a great way to save money or repay loans. Upon your approval, deductions can be made from your paycheck automatically and credited to any account you wish.
GEM Online
We have online access! See the link on our home page or stop into the credit union to receive a pin number and you can access your accounts online. You can also get your statements, do transfers, apply for a loan, and many other services in the convenience of your home.
E-Statements
Go Green - Save Paper! Receive your statement faster, access it through GEM Online. Completing a short form is all that is needed.
